plz dont give -ve rating

Wasn't me...I don't give negatives and so far haven't had to report abuses either. I rate most everyone with pluses if they are following Mylot's guidelines and prefer to leave it blank rather than give a negative. However if I find someone who need to be reported I will. The drop you experienced could be for a few reasons...I notice you do not rate your responses...and both topics and responses are less than the suggested 400 words and at least two paragraphs per post. There are increasing numbers of members who want Newbies to understand what responsible membership to Mylot involves. Also you are still trying to generate referrals even though you are doing it in less obvious ways. Mylot's membership is geared to those of us who want to post interesting, informative discussions that add something to others lives. Members who are using it to pull members away from here can expect negatives...because it violates the reasons most of us are here. So the way you choose to function here is up to you...but it might be useful for you to re-read Mylot guidelines again and in that way you will know ahead of time what to avoid so you will not experience a drop in your ratings. Hello anju291.... One negative or positive will not have any effect on your rating. The numbers you refer to are not rating numbers, that is the counting of your discussions and responses. Tom
