I have already started, I got a few things for Christmas. I know it is still early, but every past year I have been late, sometimes shopping 2-3 days before. Anybody else start christmas shopping yet? Or are you usually late shoppers?

No I havent started my christmas shopping yet its way to early to think about christmas hell fall just started a few days ago. I usally dont think about christmas till after thanksgiving or at least christmas shopping. Its just to early to think about christmas even though im sure a lot of places are putting out christmas decorations like my store did.

I usually start shopping as soon as Christmas is over. lol Now that I live so far from home, I don't do as much Christmas shopping as I used to. Now I just send my little sister a giftcard and she combines it with her money to buy my parents something. She gets part of the money on that gift card to buy her own present as well. We also draw names with my siblings so we just have to buy one present, instead of the 7 (or 8) we would be buying otherwise (There are six kids, and three of us are married). I don't think my husband and I are going to participate this year, though. It's too expensive to ship things, plus it's not as fun when you don't get to see the person open the presents. We only have two nieces and we've finished shopping for them. I've bought about 75% of my son's stuff, and I know what else I am getting him, I am just waiting to see if any of it goes on sale. So my husband is really the only person I have left to buy anything for. He wants a Zune and I'm pretty sure I can get it online by playing games before Christmas gets here.

I leave all presents the last week or the last 2 days. The prices are much better because the owners of the stores think will be left with all products.

No, and it makes me nuts. Every year, I am the one in that family that is done by July. I like to shop throughout the year. When I'm out, if I see something that I think someone would like, I'd buy it. Not only do I get more deals this way, I don't have to worry about stores being sold out, and I don't run out of money or go into debt because of the holidays. Last year there was a huge family argument because my sisters wanted to draw names, but didn't say anything until a week before Thanksgiving, and they had my niece draw names without asking first and didn't include my step daughter and mother-in-law (who lives with me and has ALWAYS been included in Christmas). I was upset because they waited until the last minute to mention it and I had already finished my shopping (and they knew I always finished early). I didn't even see my oldest sister last year because she was mad at me. So, this year we will exchange names on Thanksgiving, so that's when my shopping will begin. So, to answer your question, no I haven't even started my shopping this year.
