I like many kinds of dancing: Western Style Square Dancing, Latin Dance, Modern Dance, Middle Eastern Dance, Martial Arts moves to dance music, esp. T'ai Chi.
I like moving to music in general. I even have hip hop exercise dance tapes. I like dance because I can exercise and it feels fun.
What kind of dancing do you like? Why do you like that kind of dancing?

Hello writersedge. Im not really a good dancer. I consider myself having two left feet when dancing. I do like to learn how to dance. The kind of dancing that I like to learn is ballroom dancing and the latin dance because I find ballroom dancing a classic. I find it interesting to learn it. Ballroom dancing isn't for old people. Its for everyone to learn. As for the latin dance I find it romantic. The costumes are beautiful as well.

That dancing image and your two angles images are so cute!
Yes, Ballroom dancing is for anyone who is interested in learning it. It's is absolutely beautiful. I hope you get the chance to learn it someday. Latin also looks like fun and difficult in places. Thanks for your response, take care

I used to do ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, acrobatics, pointe and musical theater. Now I just teach sometimes and choreograph for competitions. It's a lot of fun!

I myself am not good in dancing but I like watching all kinds of dancing. It doesn’t matter traditional dance or modern dance. I love to watch belly dance, Latin dance, tap-dancing and hip hop dance. The beats of the music and the dancers always make me energetic and high, as if I am one of the dancers lol.. Anyway there is lots of fun for me to watch whatever dancing.

Unless someone is really good and constantly changing, like in Riverdance, I would rather dance than watch. But I'm glad you enjoy it always. Take care

I hope to watch the opening ceremony on TV, but I may be working then. I like dance and sword. I've seen it in a couple of traditions now, and another tradition would be wonderful to see. Take care

i like dancing no matter which type. i think dance is the expression of love, happiness n freedom. i always wanted to learn Indian Classical dance from my childhood but...
i still love dancing. for me this is the simplest way to enjoy as i needs nothing except ourself.

I've only seen Indian Classical dance a couple of times on TV and I think it's beautiful. Hope you get a chance to learn it. Take care.

I'm like you, I love any kind of dance, so long as it involves music. I used to dance ballet and jazz ballet, then flamenco for a while, and now I do belly dancing, ballroom, Latin and Ceroc.
Actually one of the reasons I gave up flamenco was that when I got to the advanced level, I discovered that most classes were taught with no music at all, just the rhythm - and I couldn't enjoy it without the music.
I've never heard of doing T'ai Chi to music, sounds interesting.

There was one dance, was it Salsa, hurt the back of my calves, had to quit that, but loved the rest. I learned Egyption-style Middle Eastern Dance (Belledi got called Belly later on), but I think Tribal Style is very interesting. Veil work is so beautiful.
My instructor had some Chineese music that was very slow and we did T'ai Chi to it maybe about once a year. He would try different things to keep things fresh and interesting.
No music and doing dancing does sound different. I have danced around a fire with just drums or percussion instruments though. Terrific response. Take care

We used to just get out there and do what felt good! And when I walked, which I did a lot in this tiny town, I walked to music in my head. I can't do those things now, but the memories are great. I'm grateful that I had as much as I did!
