Recently on an interview for a mag, 50 said that he will retire if Kanyes album sells more copies than his. Do you think 50 is telling the truth if so is his retirement going to happen? Do you also think the beef is way off hand? and that 50 is over-confident about himself? PS - I also heard that 50 will buy his own copies in huge amounts. dont know to what extend this is true but anyway what do you guys think?

I personally think it is all a publicity stunt. I think there is any real beef there. Come on they just happened to pick the same day to release their albums. I dont buy it.

Well the beef has been on-going for quite a long time. Yes i do believe its just another publicity stunt just like the game 50 cent one. but hey 50's gotta stick to his word.

ummm 50 Cent beat Kanye West in worldwide sales so in the end he is the winner. Also, 50 and Kanye both stated in their own interviews how this WAS a publicity stunt. Nothing wrong with that as far as I can see. This is what hip-hop needs.

What's, up with 50 cent that he always hit on Kanye West? When Kanye launched his song "stronger" .. 50 cent said something about it. .And now, if Kanye sells more copied, he's gonna do what? Retire. I'm starting to think that he's just making it up.. Both of them are making the story up.. What the first responder answered is somewhat similar to my answer. ."A publicity stunt".. I am a fan of both but with what is happening with both, I might look for someone to look up to rather than the two.

It would be really funny if 50 cent is going to retire because of that. And that 50 is going to buy his own copies is just hilarious.I dunno, maybe he was drunk of something when he said that stuff.
