Michael Vick! Why did he really lose his job?

Am I the only one that feels that Michael Vick should not have lost his QB job? I mean I agree what he did was wrong but what does his personal life have to do with his career? On top of that there are football players who have done worse. I think Vick was given a raw deal. Drugs, Guns and attempted murder all have been placed on other players in the past and they still have jobs. So why is it different for Vick. It seems everyone cares more about dogs then anything else. Run over your wife a slap on the wrist. Kill a dog and your career is over. My personal opinion is he was making too much money to be black and they did something about it. I'm curious to see how many other young black athletes will lose their high dollar jobs under the commissioner.

Hahha, yeah it has something to do with him being black! hahhaha, what a crock. Like the NFL has a problem giving money to black people, hahhahah! Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
He lost his jobbed because he did something to disgrace his team and his profession. By those grounds enough they were justified in taking his job. They can take his starting job for any reason they want, and in this case, after ALL the trouble Vick has been in, they're done with it.
