I have kept a journal for very many years now. I find that it helps me to figure things out that happened in my day and gives me perspective. It's a good place to think things through when you need extra time to do that. It's really like having a conversation with yourself for me. It also gives me a little more solitude and alone time when the world is hectic.

I used to keep a journal but I haven't for a few years. I've been thinking about starting it up again. It always helped me. It was a way for me to vent if I was angry or to get my feelings out. When I met my husband I found that I could talk to him about things and I'd feel better. But now he doesn't seem to care what I have to say and can't stay awake to hear it.

I've kept a journal for years. I don't think it helps me but I do see how far I have come and although I like to keep it private I have written some things about my son who I had a problem with at one time and showed it to him to show how much he has changed for the better. I think it helped him more than it did me....lol...
