Yesterday what a horrible experience I experienced. It was raining continuously and heavily since saturday evening. Still I came to office on monday. It rained whole day. While returning home from office in a Sumo jeep, I found all the roads are flooded. At a point it came to permanently standstill due to water. I was shaken What to do? I was fearing we can't move and can't even get down from the bus either. We could have ended suffocated inside the car. Most of the cars were flooded till the roof! Our jeep had water till the window glass and water started pouring inside it. Atlast very slowly we moved and requested the driver to help us move alittle further tahn the position where route ends for it. We were at home frightened at last late. Thanks GOD we are alive and did not end up on flooded road.

Happy to see you home safely. Getting stuck and fearing something might happen is such a horrible experience. We had it once when we were in norway where we got stuck in the snow on our skiing trip. We were stuck there for 4 hours and the snow just kept falling. Then finally a snowtruck came by and helped us free. We then had to backtrack to a nearby city untill he had cleared the roads enough for us to pass through. But it was certainly quite scary sitting in the snow, not able to move or get out of the car.

Thank goodness that nothing bad happened to you and the people inside the vehicle you were in...i live in a place where it floods from time to time but never as bad as reaching the top of a car's roof...i hope the government of your country will do something about that kind of flooding because a lot of lives might be lost...

It is really a very bad experience. I am so sorry for that, but I am happy that you made it home safely from the flooded road, which is so good news to know. I hope that the flood is fading with the road smooth again for riding and walking.

Hi Subha12, and indeed thanks God that nothing worse happened and you arrived safe at home. Such natural disasters do prove terrible for our emotions, and cause unbelievable stress and anguish. I hope you are ok under it now, and are able to cope with the emotions. Stay well :) TheFortunes
