So much for Spring

Its meant to be Spring, yet it feels like we are still in winter here in the small suburb of Waikato, New Zealand, where right now its raining like crazy as well as Thunder and lightning, and its freezing.... Im wondering how the weather is in different parts of the world, is global warming getting closer....Hit me back with some responses, to those who do thank you in advance.
