What are some extra things that we all could do, but dont?
I'm working at a fast food restaurant and i've noticed a lot of little things. Like taking the bread that we are made to throw away each night. Its really still good, and its good to make a sandwich at home with. Another thing is, if you are always drinking water, and drink bottle water, every one in awhile, when you are about to throw it away fill it back up with tap water and but it back in the refrigerator and drink it another time.

i learned something nifty the other day to conserve water.
if your toilet is old or less water efficient, please soda bottle filled with water into the tank of the toilet. it will take up space and the tank will fill with less water... conserving more water with every flush... i've tried it on our toilets and it helps a lot. they use way too much water!

another thing you could do is wrap your water heater in an insulated blanket, and turn down or shut off your water heater when your going to be gone for more than a few days.

in my vicinity i feel following ways one shud atleast make an attaempt to save thngs wherever possible
1. while travelling in trains or busses on shud avoid throwing garbage in the buss /train or evn on the road n shud use the dustbins.
2.one shud use the left over food for oneself the next day or ratehr gve the same to ne beggar / or poor ppl
3.switch off the fans / bulbs whn nt needed in public transport
4.there shudnt be misuse of water by running taps whn nt needed
5.one shudnt print un neccessary stuffs n shud save paper
6.we shud grow more trees..etc
we shud also create awareness abt all this in our peers.
