You should check it out cause it can be a lot of fun, but i guess in your case, if you are close to all your friends it doesn't really matter. Thanks for sharing:)

I actually like some of the applications just cause they are fun...That being said I MUCH prefer Facebook to Myspace..Myspace is just a pain in the rump to me with all the nonsense requests and the crap that goes on there..plus I have gotten BACK in touch with numerous ppl from my past through Facebook...like ppl I grew up with but havent seen or talked to in 20 yrs! I love it :-D

Facebook is cool. It's trying to upgrade things kinda like MySpace though. I must admit I am on Facebook more these days because of these applications. The rock, paper, scissor application called Roshambull is addicting. As a matter of fact I am online there playing it now!

Thats the thing i don't like though, i don't want it to be like Myspace, it was good how it was, now it's just messy.

I agree with you there it is, a really good way to keep in contact. But don't you find a lot of your day is used up while your on it?

I have just begun using Facebook after a friend invited me to join but I am still undecided about it.
It seems to offer a lot of features, but in someways it it a bit confusing to navigate around and seems a bit remote.
I mainly use it at the moment as another web presence to publicise my on-line writing and as another link to my blog.
This might change over time of course.

Trust me keep using it and eventually you'll be addicted. It really is fun, but let me know how you find it after a couple days.

I like it because I can keep in touch with relatives as far away as Scotland and Newfoundland. 90% of my friends on Facebook are people I have met in real life, a few I work with.
