How often

My kids had their pictures during their months old. meaning from birth, then one month to 11 months. Afterwhich, everytime they celebrate their birthdays, I took their pictures as well.

A friend of mine has 2 girls (2 and 3 months) and she has theirs done every 3 months. Personally, I think once every 6 months as a baby then once a year is enough but some ppl like to do it every couple of months. When I was growing up we got ours professionally done when we lived with my Dad once a year and then our school pics were once a year also. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I am pregnant and due with our first child in about 2 months. I'll porabable get a few prefessional pictures done, but the majority I'll do myself. You can some some amazing pictures of people in their natural environment. Plus, if you don't like them you don't havde to keep them.

my son is now 4 and he has had his picture taken profesionally 4 times (1 for the pasport and 3 at a studio). I do take a lot of photos at home I have over 6000 photos at home and about 20 photo albums and half of those are since my son was born. I also have hips more in macedonia and also at my parents. As I did media (including Photography) at school for 4 years I am preatty ok at taking good pictures at home (now only if I had a nicer camera). My friend when she had a baby would call me every month or so and I will go there and take nice photos of her baby and the older one and she loved it.

So far I am having them taken every 3 months. But then again, she is only 3 months old. =)

I have never had my childs picture taken professionaly, but I have many many beautiful pictures. I love to play dress up with my baby girl!

I usually get my kids' pictures done professionally once a year. But I take a lot of pics at home. I've got around 500 pics of my older son alone. But I like to get them professionally done to frame tham and keep them around the house.

I take a lot of pictures of my son at home. I also took him to Walmart for pictures every month until he turned a year old. We had his pictures taken in August when he was 18 months old, and we will have Christmas pictures taken in November most likely. Then we will do them every year on his birthday, and again for Christmas. I guess we got his pictures taken a lot more than a lot of people do, but we live 1100 miles from home and that was the easiest way to get good pictures for all of our family to see.

We get them taken at 3 months, 6 months and then at a year old, then every year after that. When we get my youngest daughters done on her birthday we also get a group shot of all the kids done. We got to walmart, they have a decent picture package that is not too bad and if we need more I just scan them and order from snapfish.com because its cheaper.

When my kids were little, I had their picture taken at birth, one month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 yr. Then I went every year until they hit school. Now I just buy the school photos. I also do alot with my digital camera.

Hi, I take my son photos everytime i want with our digital camera :) But officially, every month on the same date as he born i make photos of him. I also make a small video of every new move that he makes :) All the photos that i make i make creation of those and become a great photos, i think ^_^;; Maybe i am not professional photographer yet but couple of my photos being published.
