What is the best way to tell someone you like them?

I like someone at my school, and i really like him. But Im confused on how to tell him that I like him. He's the sweetest guy I know and he always has a smile on his face and he is a close friend to me, but how do I tell him the news? It's really hard in this case, becasue normally when I tell someone that I like them, I dont fell fluttery and shy to, but this time for some reason I do. And it's really weird becasue I really am not the shy type!

Hello itdusntmatta :) You seem to really like him, based on your reaction to him. You know, I had this crush on someone. I did not tell him I like him, but I made sure that we really become close friends by being together often, not alone but with group of friends. Those times gave me opportunities to show him the best person that I can be, until he decides that he like me too. He is now my husband. So for me, I don't think its really necessary to tell him you like him, he will know and feel it somehow. And what might happen if you tell him directly is that when you are together, the atmosphere might become tense and awkward already. But if there is urgency in the situation, like he is already on the verge of saying "i like you" to another girl, then by all means, tell him what you feel, and create a beautiful relationship. gee thanks! you really do give good advice... are you a psyciatrist or something? anywayz, thanks for the messages, even before.. on my other one. I doubt I can marry the boy yet.... im only 17 after all... but I do like him, and he is a close friend to me.. he always has a smile on his face, and he's always polite.. thats what I like about him... only one of my friend knows and the only reason I told her is becasue I really trust her, becasue she is my best mate and all.. thanks for your advice though!

like i no! but who is this guy? hmmm? it it a guy from our college? is it *medo*? (or how ever u spell his name) *--proberbly is--* anywayz why are u worring about this? i mean it's not like you've never told a guy that you like him before! i mean we both know you have! do i need to remind you of his damn name!? anyhow thats history, and i'm pretty sure you don't like him anymore. (at least i hope not..)
