If you could break one habit forever, what would it be and why?

Most of the people have at least one habit that is really hard to break, so if you are given the chance to break one habit forever, what would it be and why? for me, it would choose one bad habit that i want to change forever, one that is embarrassing and not good but i can't think of anything cause i don't drink and i don't smoke, i don't swear and i don't pick on my nose and i'm not addicted to anything. hhm.. maybe i would just change the sleeping late at night. the habit i can't break is to smile.. hehehe.. jst teasing friends. anyway, tell us what habit do you want to break and why.

I dont have bad habit.When i was kid i have a bad habit.I always bite my nails.I copy from my elder sister bad habit.I want to try but then it become bad habit to me.Now im free from that's bad habit because my mother had success to stop and quit my bad habit when i was kid.Im happy now because not have bad habit.

The habit that I would like to break is I would change my sleeping habits. I usually sleep late at night and wake up late in the morning.

My one bad habit is *stress eating*. I had gastric bypass surgery and lost almost 200 lbs. I have gain 10 lbs back with my stress eating. I think that I would be alright if I could break this habit.

C'mon you have to have one bad habit....For me it would be to quit smoking.I only smoke in the evening when I'm heading out to work and once I get home,so after 5pm. I hate the smell of cig.smoke in the morning or even to be around it during the day, I have no idea why I only smoke then.

eating junk food. its really bad, but i can't help it especially when i'm watching movies or sometimes when i'm surfing the net. I'll try to lessen the intake :) That's one way to break the bad habit, slowly and with discipline :)

i guess it is not a habit but more of an addiction. i cant go through a day without coffee and i want to stop drinking it already. yet i find it really difficult because my job entails me to be always awake. hehe and coffee keeps me awake. :)

coffee can really be addictive. my father is addicted to drinking coffee too and always tell him to minimize drinking coffee so i give him tea or juice cause is more better for him. Caffeine can really make us awake so don't drink it at night. God Bless! :)

Well, you covered all the bases for me, LOL. I don't do any of those either. I guess for me it would be drinking soda. I don't drink it a lot, but I drink it more than I should. But sometimes caffeine gets rid of my headache, and that is a plus in my book.

yah, drinking too much soda is not good, it can cause diabetes. gives us too much sugar in the body. you can drink coffee too if you want caffeine for your headache or just simple take aspirin or pain relievers. :) Have a great day!

Diet soda has aspertame, and it has been linked to demntia as one gets older. So really soda isn't ever good for us in large quantities.

I need to stop eating so much. I'm not fat ,but I should follow a balance diet and stay away from sweets like cheesecakes.

Mine would be smoking. I've smoked since I was 13 years old and I'm now 43. I hate having to buy the darned things but the addition is overwelming and hard to break. I want to quit so bad but the will power is just something I don't have in me. Maybe some day I'll find a way, once this stress that I'm under at the moment calms down.

Hi there claire *smile* Hmmm... I think I wanna break the habit of having a strict eye looking. hehe Some people whom doesn't know me yet may say that I am so strict. I can feel that they were afraid to approach me especially guys. hahaha Ohhh heavens! If they could know me well, they may say I am so rockin' sweet! hahaha just kidding. :)

i've experienced that cristalkate. some people's impression about me is that i am serious looking and strict that's why they are shy or scared to approach me, but actually i am easy to get along to and befriend. Once they come to know me, they will say that they are wrong on what they think about me before and that i am approachable, friendly and really sweet. So that's heart warming! See you around.

My bad habit is that i cry very easily. I get very emotional, i cry over tv shows and movies. But the most annoying thing is i sometimes cry for no reason! I'll just be sat there and tears come to my eyes. My boyfriend doesn't know what to do, he asks me what's wrong and gets very confused when i say that i don't know!

I wanted to break my laziness because this is always my problem everyday. I don't finished my work just because of laziness. Sometimes I can't do my plans for that certain day because I'm too lazy to do it. Another thing is, when I was just a student, I always get a low grade because of laziness. Even if the person itself is the problem, I still don't why I am so lazy.

If I could break one habit it would be my addiciton to sweets! I could easily lose weight if I didn't have such a gigantic sweet tooth! I literally crave sweet items. Each day I say that I am going to do better and by midday I am digging around for sweets!

You sound perfect. lol. I'll tell you one habit I would like to break forever. I bite my nails (not all of them) but some of them and sometimes, especially when I'm nervous. I've had the bad habit of doing this since I was a little girl. I've gotten better throughout the years but every now and then I find myself still doing it. :(

The one bad habit that i would want to break seeing as how i can only pick one because there are many would be sticking to what i say in a relationship. I mean when i am being mistreated in a relationship i would always tell them i will never put up with it again and if it is to happen again we would be down but every time i say it and everytime it happens it is just a bad cycle and i think the others in the relationship no this and that is why it continues so much. I dont know really if that is a habit or not but it is very worth breaking dont you think?

The bad habit i want to get it off is procrastinate. I always like to procrastinate in doing things. That makes me always late. Especially in the early morning, just feel so lazy to wake up. I think I like to procrastinate is because I'm lazy. Haha
