The other day during a job interview, the owner of the company asked me what the population of the Philippines was. I gave the stupid answer of 500 million. Then he asked if I knew what the GDP was. Being out of the country for 2 years now, I really didn't know. But I don't know the answers to those questions for the country where I live in now either!
So what do you think are the 5 things everyone should know about their country at the top of their mind?

And I thought I had a bad interview on Monday when she showed the applicant before me around the office and she showed me the door! LOL Seriously.....
Was this a sales job or something? What would you knowing the population possibly tell him about you? Im curious.

What was strange about it was that it had NOTHING to do with the population of the Philippines or its GDP at all. He even told me that for a highly educated person involved with numbers, that information was something I should have known. I think he just had this ego and a need to embarrass people.

Yeah that is sort of what I was thinking too, I just thought perhaps the hiring tactics of the Phillipines was a bit different! lol
Well sounds like you wouldnt want to work for him anyway. I dont think I could handle a boss like that giving me my instruction. Your probably better off....that is if you dont get the job! lol
