I was cleaning my sons room and toy room today. I found SOOO Many toys its amazing!! Where do they all come from?? I think someone comes in the night and brings more. I got rid of all the broken toys, pieces to things, parts to other things. Man it took me 3 hours to do both rooms totaly!! I got rid of everything they dont play with and left them with only a few toys. Why do they need a million of them? They have a toat with hot wheel cars in it, A toat with duplo legos in it, and a toy box 3/4 full of everything else. Thats plenty. Now I can See the Floor!!! Do your kids have ALOT of toys??

Toys are similar to hangars...especially those nasty metal ones...they multiple when you aren't looking. My sister has a son about 4 years younger then my son, so I used to pass toys on down to her. A few weeks before a visit I would start paying attention to what he played with. I would think he hasn't touched certain toys in 2 months or something, I guess he outgrew them and I can get rid of them, inevitably within 15 minutes he would start playing with them. My totes - do you mean those giant plastic bins? Those were a life saver...I put all of my sons toys in those things...one winter we had a broken pipe...all his toys and books remained high and dry in those things...they were worth every penny.

Yes he does and only plays with a few of them. My neighbor always brings by her toys from her grandchildren and so forth and even though she is being nice and all, its starting to pile up and some of them are broken, so I don't know why she keeps giving them to us LOL

Didn't you know that toys multiply when you aren't looking. I have four kids, the oldest two are teens now so they have out grown the toy stage but the other 2 are still young enough to want toys. Only 3 hours to do two rooms, that is amazing. Last time I did a massive clean out it took me a whole day to do one room and I just peeked inside and looks like I will have to have another go soon.
