hospital..She came on the net to tell me she cut herself and was taking pills so she can overdose. Cause she wants to die....I know how she feels cause I have done the same thing...But I always ended up in the hospital on the 3rd floor as we call it and in CCU...I have been talking to her for about an hour and then she said her husband came home and didn't want me to tell him...I did ask to talk to him but she wouldn't let me talk to him...And my last message I got from her is I want to DIE and I'm gonna finish these pills...then it said she logged off line...So I got off line and I tried to call her and I don't get her or her husband to answer the phone...I can't go to her house because my kids are sleeping and I have no one to watch them if I did go...It kinda scares me casue I really don't know how far she will go with this...I have never seen her like this before...What should I do...I told her I was gonna call 911 but I don't know her house number. I know how to get there and what house it is but I never paid attention to her address..What can I do? What would you do? She only lives like 10 mins away from me and I can't do anything. There is no way I would leave my kids even for that long to run up to her house...Only thing I can think of doing is keep trying to call her...Is there anything else I could do??

This was posted 4 hours ago so whatever happened, happpened but calling 911 or the local police would have been a good idea. They can identify addresses by a ton of means and, if you gave them the exact directions, house color, and all you know, they would have been able to find it. Possibly it is just in the phone book. Even if it is unlisted, the cops can easily get the address from the name or the [hone number of the person.
I hope everything worked out for your friend. That is such a helpless position to be in but you did the right thing NOT leaving your kids alone. I applaud you for that.

Oh it sounds so terrible and desperate to me according to your friend's actions.You could have tried more to convince her to stop taking the course of action which she took.It is difficult to think clearly when your friend wants to die and you are seemingly helpless to stop it.Maybe you should have considered going to your friends house.But then it is always easier to advise and think after everything has occured.I have the benefit of hindsight here.It also seems like she is very determined to die anyway so it might have been difficult to stop her.
