I believe that the Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus. I also believe that she is one of the chosen people of God. Is that Ok. But I do respect her and acknowledge her part in the life of our Lord Jesus Christ, but I don't pray to her. How about you do you pray to her?

I don't pray to Mary. She is not God. She was the earthly mother of Jesus but that earthly relationship has long ceased as soon as the Lord Jesus Christ decided to start his mission to save mankind. Here is a complete truth why we should not pray to Mary http://www.bukisa.com/articles/319261_catholics-why-do-you-worship-mary Have a nice day!

Believe it or not, my family and I pray the rosary every day. My family is so religious that even some of my aunts would attend mass daily. In fact, a few minutes ago.. we finished praying rosary together with my mom and younger brother. I do believe in God but I tend to get tired at times because we pray the rosary each and every day.. and sometimes, I feel like i'm just forced to pray together with family.. But i'm just got used to it already since I grew up with such a religious and prayerful family which I am thankful for.. It just shows how strong our faith is to God.

You can pray to Mary all you want, she can't hear you. Only God can hear your prayers. Praying to anything or anyone else is simply idolatry. I can't even understand why you would WANT to pray to a created being rather than the Creator regardless of who this person gave birth to. It doesn't make any sense nor is there any provision for it in the Word of God.
