I started in May of 2006 and had total sales of $6000 and this year I only have $3000 in sales. I was wondering if anyone else is having problems getting customers to buy and if it is the economy doing this or just too many Reps. in my area. Hugs

Hey there,
Although I dont do AVON myself, my friend does and she has noticed a dip in her earnings too. We live in england though so im not sure what her earnings would be in dollars. She earned around £4000 last year and so far this year has only made just over £2000. She thinks it is because AVON has had a recruitment drive so there are many more reps out there now and coupled with low employment rates in our area at the minute, it has hit her earnings. Maybe the same is true for your area?
Just a thought :)

Yes that is the case in my area as well. Too many Reps. not enough customers. We have a very bad econamoy right now as well. There is not any jobs worth taking at this time and with the auto industry getting worse my earnings have dropped way down. thanks for the post. hugs

Hi Bambie, yes, the ballooning number of representatives could also add pressure to our sales. In my country, yes, it is. Economy, as well, has big effect on us. It affected earnings. My mom used to tell me having sales of P9.6M average three years ago. Last year, she only had P8M..
I am 24 months old in the business and for me, it's different I have accelerated so far. I went to more friends and even attended different social events to tell them I sell and recruit representatives for Avon. It is somehow working for me. I hope this one helps too. I'm still learning how to create volume of traffic add in the internet to increase more sales and earnings.
Happy selling and sharing! Spread the love!
