Is Healthclif actions justifiable?

Well to me they seem natural and reaction to what had happened to him in the childhood. He was welcomed by hatred of the both; Cathy and Hindely. Then in the later when Cathy approaches her gently he responds with same love and affection. These reacted feelings are justifiable. The novel is classic and great due to the strong character of Healthclif.
