does your cat wake you up at 4 in the morning?

Well, that's one way that cats have of waking their human owners. My poor Tabitha used to jump on my bed early in the morning and sleep on my pillow, leaning her body against the top of my head. She knew somehow that I would get up and give her breakfast. Now, my Columbus yowls loudly around 4 am, or close to it, and if I don't get up and feed him, he'll yowl loudly one or two hours later. He did that early this morning, but I was too tired to get up and ignored him. My Waffles cat jumped on the bed and curled herself up next to me after walking around on the bed. She thumps on it slightly to awaken me.
