im a extremely shy person and when this question is asked to me i always answer back neither but if the show must go on and everybody is expecting me to do one of these id rather choose to sing. im not good in body movements because i have a rigid body i cannot sway it that much because my body is near obese that means im little bit fat.that's why i cannot dance nor plan to dance in any given day. im not saying that im not good in singing but i love to hear and sing some song and i dont care if it pleasant to here for others but i love to do it.so atleast i ahve a confidence to sing so i prefer singing although im not expecting they will love my voice at all.how about you would you prefer singing or dancing if ever you really need to do it?

If you ask me, I won't choose between singing and dancing because I don't like them both., But as far as I am capable with, I'd rather dance than sing. I sing bad and I'm definitely not a good singer at all. I can dance, though not that good as those dancers and performers..But atleast I can sway, rock my body and shake my hips.. Lol.. Yeah really. Singing is one of the biggest fears in life. I'm not that shy but I just hate singing! Best of luck to you!

It depends on the situation. If it is one that many people are dancing at the ball, then I don't care about dancing for them, but I need a partner to dance together me. I am happy to dance. If I must sing, then I need to sing a song that I am familiar with. I also need to read the words while singing the song because I cannot remember the words, without words I can not sing at all because I seldom sing. But it is ok if it is karaoke with words on the TV screen.

i admire you because you are a flewxible one my friend. you can adopt to singing or dancing. i think your personality is bring it on! i do sing alone at home and we have a karaoke which i used to polish my voice. as for dancing, id rather not do it but if i have a partner and its just a slow moving dance then im on it its worth trying it. thanks for resonding.

I love to sing, but the trouble is, that I do not know that much by heart, but if it were in front of me, the words and music that is, I can really sing. I am a soprano but I am not that good at singing low, so it has to be classical, sacred music or opera.
I am desperately hoping that I will be able to sing a solo at our Church concert, but now with us traveling a bit, I doubt I will have the time and besides I might have to buy the sheet music and I do not have the money. Downloading it does not count. The pianist has to buy a sheet and I have to buy a sheet so that we can record it on the CD we use for the concert and can put it on the internet ==something about copyrights. I do have a very good voice. What you should do is to get a voice recorder, or record it on the computer and listen.

hi suspenseful. wow atleast you admit to me that your voice is very good and i hope your wish of singing alone in your church will come true. just believe in your self. about the sheet, try to earn more here in come so that you can buy the original, the recording plan to be post here in the internet can be a source of money. try to record and give it to you tube, i think you can make money there by this way. anyway, thanks for responding.

Seeing my body size, I do not think anybody will take risk of asking me to dance. It is like this. Paying one cent for crying and two cents for stopping crying. So, in the interests of the people and the earth, I will prefer to sing. My voice is good and I can sing, so no problem in that regard.

If I have to choose between the two, I prefer to just sing. I'm not really good when it comes to dancing, well, except when I have to dance with my 4 year old son!lol
I'm more into singing and I guess I won't embarass myself that much in front of others.

hi fudong. we are the same but i also prefer to sing more than dancing. its because singing is just like talking but with tune and melody unlike danicng in which you must have step to follow. singing is more easy to do also that's why i love it more than dancing.thanks for responding.

I will sing my heart out if prompted to do so. But, it takes me a while to warm up. Sometimes a long time. The only time you can hear me sing on request is at Christmas. I will belt out a carol at the drop of a hand.

hahaha.yes christmas is a good event were most people sing because songs they sing are either christian songs or carol or melodic songs. yes singing requires your heart to be with you especially when you are singing alone in thew crowd.its wonderful that we choose singing or dancing than choosing none at all. thanks for responding.

Just because someone is fat doesn't mean they cant dance. Look at hairspray! Its all about confidence and enthusiasm. If you like what you are doing, you are going to enjoy it and other people will see that :)
Stick with what you are more confident with, and do it with all your body (whether it be singing or dancing). People respond to enthusiasm with enthusiasm :)
I like doing both ;)

I prefer to dance. Although I can carry a tune but I'm not gifted with a nice singing voice. I do sing in the shower but that's all there is. LOL. I have no qualms in dancing as long as I dance with a group. Besides, dancing makes me lose some weight. It is a form of exercise for me. :)

I would say sing, because it sounds like you are more comfortable with singing than dancing so who cares if they like the song you sing just enjoy, have fun.

If i have to make a choose between them.I think singing is much better choose.I have no talent with both sing and dance. But i'm more interesting in singing,i always sing with my close friends who don't care whether the song is pleasing to the ear. I'm shy when i face the strange man, singing likes much more difficult at this moment.I hope they will love my singing if i really need to do it.

hi friend i also prefer singing. i dont know i am more comfortable with it becasue its just similar to talking but with tunes and melody. in dancing, you must follow steps and coordination and usually you need someone to dance with. in singing, you can do it alone or with somebody else so no worries.thanksfor responding.

hi ericha you have choosen the more easy thing to do between singing and danicng. be more confident in snging becasue its just like talking but with tune and melody and besides people will never care what type of song will sing. try to sharpen a voice by just singing when you are in the shower, alone or if you just want to do it. thanks for responding

If I'm asked to do something to entertain the crowd, I'd rather sing than dance. I don't have a talent for dancing, but I was once a dancer during my younger days. Somehow, influences took turns in my becoming of a singer. I have a passion for music, that I even obligated myself to learn how to play guitar. I am also not that good as a singer, but I sure can sing songs in which I know are my forte..

I'm actually a good singer and dancer. :) However, I am shy too. If I had to choose, I would also rather sing than dance. I think there's more talent in singing than in dancing. I don't know why.

because in singing your voice will do the action you wont do more than that just like in dancing. singing is better just like in the american idol. besides why there are no american idol for dancing have you wonder? because singing again is better than dancing.singing can be done in many ways.yes we all love to sing. thanks for responding.

yes your right singing makes you less nervous than dancing because you can even close your eyes while singing if you are really extremely shy.its easier i think because your voice will only do the thing.its similar to talking but only we put some melody on it.that's all. yes we all love to sing if its needed.thanks for responding.
