Philippine TV Ratings

I believe that it is already a part of filipino's daily lives, as long as there are those so-called "loyalists." LoL Since it cannot be avoided, I believe that viewers should learn from what they do. I sometimes join this frenzy when an "issue" is still fresh, especially when personal attacks are bombarded on my favorite host. I believe it cannot be funny for those who are really hurt and affected by this, especially when the truth is shared to the public..

Because the two are the most viewed. Anyone filipino would tune up to either channels for news and entertainment, because they cater most to the taste of almost all if not all, or of feeling at home. this is also like saying we get use to them. regarding the competition, i think the ratings it's their business,and not ours. When there is competition, they think of innovative or new gimmick if not improvement.

Publicity is the thing important to them, I mean to the networks. Good or bad, that is still publicity. Each one wants to be on top and so they engage or involve the viewers. The floor managers are very good. And the viewers are happy with it, not knowing that they are just being used. That's entertainment.

Only in the Philippines. LOL... but that is one thing we should change in our way of thinking.

I would say that this is really true. Filipinos are very affected with what is going on with these TV stations. That includes me and my family. My father even gets angry when I try to change to channel to ABS-CBN because I would like to watch a more worth while series than the drama series pretending to be a telefantasy series "Ang Mga Mata ni Anghelita" and "Zaido" which is a very stupid remake of Shaider. Too bad. :(
