I do some field market research in my spare time for a company that does actually pay you to do certain things. Certified Field Associates.com
They have all types of assignments and yes they really pay you. You choose the assignments you would like in your area, and they do pay you for it. The assignments include things like Blind Theatrical Checks, Open Theatrical Checks, and they even do some store checks it just depends on what is available in your area. If you want to know more please e-mail me and if you sign up with them please be sure to let them know I referred you!

I have been doing mystery shops for over fifteen years and have done them for many types of companies. Most mystery shops are done as an independent contractor which means that you are responsible for your own expenses and your own tax accounting. You should never have to pay a company to do mystery shopping. It is possible to make money doing it but very, very few people can earn a real living. If you search online you will find some legit companies. It takes alot of time to complete applications and get approved. You must be very observant and objective. It is an ok way to pick up a little extra cash but you'll never get rich doing mystery shopping.
