Does anyone have a hard time sleeping? I have a hard time sleeping and I take meds that are suppose to help you sleep. I'm up and down all night long and then there are times when I do get into a good sleep I have the hardest time waking up without falling back to sleep. The Drs have gave me so many different sleeping meds that I tried almost everything..So I'm just staying on the meds I take now. In a discussion that I made about what meds you are on...Are the names of some of the meds I take and the ones on there are suppose to help me sleep...Is there anything else that is good to help me sleep other than taking all these pills? What do you do to help you sleep at night?

You said your doctor has tried all the different meds on you and none of them really work so have they considered a sleep study? My friend had the same problem. Once the sleep study was done they found out that he stops breathing at times because his tonsils were huge and blocking his airway. Once they removed his tonsils he was able to sleep through the night. You should also have your thyroid checked. If you hormonal balance is off you can have a hard time sleeping and may always feel tired.

I had that problem before... i can't sleep and even if i do... i feel very tired when i wake up... then i tried to research on the cause of my sleeping disorder... i also talked to like a counselor... i found out that my sleeping problem was caused by a certain type of depression... and if i solve the problem of what's keeping me depress then i would eventually solve my sleeping problem...
Now i don't have any sleeping problem anymore...maybe you have to look for the cause and then fix it so that you will have that blissful sleep that you deserve...

I only find it hard to sleep if I have big problems. It really gives me sleepless nights. Or if I am terribly sad. But as much as possible, I am trying to have a complete rest. I normally sleep early when i am not that busy at all. And wakes up early, too so icould do a lot of work within the day. When I found it hard to sleep, what I did was listen to mellow music. It really induces me to sleep. The music the fills the air somewhat brings me comfort and peace of mind.

I also experienced hard time sleeping and this occurs when my blood circulation is low so I only take vitamins w/ iron. I massage my shoulders to loosen my muscles and nerves that are stiff. Forget your worries by surrendering it to God. Don't put heavy burdens to your self because if the brain functioned so much, the heart usually weakens, so sleepless nights will visit you.
