I think that abortion is a choice that the mother should have the choice to make... Some people act like you should go to hell for having an abortion!!! I think they should get a grip on life...Why do people think like this??? And what is your opinion on abortion???

I agree, free2. I don't understand what makes people believe they have any right to control other people based on their personal beliefs.

If you are a God fearing person you would not commit abortion. It is a sin for somme who believe.
if you get pregnant of unexpected event, it is not a solution to get an abortion. Why? there a some necessary info that should be know:
1. if you aborted, there are tendecy that you cannot bore a child in the future. D&C is a risky one, esp pregnant.
2. A child is a blessing
3. If you're not ready to commit pregnancy, then be careful, try some methods that would eliminate pregnancy.
A relationship is a commitment not only to people but to a child also.

"1. if you aborted, there are tendecy that you cannot bore a child in the future. D&C is a risky one, esp pregnant."
Abortion is only risky when it's done by an untrained person in an unsterile environment. It may be illegal in your country, but it's not illegal here. Abortion is so dafe here, that you have a higher chance of becoming infertile from a natural pregancny than you do from getting an abortion.
"2. A child is a blessing"
Not everyone thinks that. Not everyone wants or likes kids.
"3. If you're not ready to commit pregnancy, then be careful, try some methods that would eliminate pregnancy."
Abortion does eliminate pregnancy. Contraceptives prevent pregnancy, but there is no such thing as a contracewptive that is 100% effective. They all have a failure rate and it can happen to anyone, no matter how careful you are. Even tubal ligations and vasectomies aren't failproof.
"A relationship is a commitment not only to people but to a chils also."
Are you saying that if you're in a relationship, then you're required to have children? I *greatly* disagree with that. Not everyone wants kids, and no one is required to have them. It's a choice.

"1. if you aborted, there are tendecy that you cannot bore a child in the future. D&C is a risky one, esp pregnant." That is not in any way true. A D&C is a very safe procedure. There is a tiny chance of infection or allergic reaction to pain meds used; that same tiny risk is present during any medical procedure.
"2. A child is a blessing" Not to a woman who doesn't want to have children. Further, we are talking about pregnancies not children.
"3. If you're not ready to commit pregnancy, then be careful, try some methods that would eliminate pregnancy. A relationship is a commitment not only to people but to a child also."
Relationships are not contracts to have children. Many couples choose to be child-free, or child-free at this time, or feel that the children they have already are enough.

That is not a choice. It is an evil choice for me. Abortion is an absolutely wrong and it is a crime of murder. And absolutely I am not favor for this. And I think the fetus have life and like us she/he have a right to see this wonderful world.

I think only the woman experiencing the pregnancy has the right to decide if it continues or not. I don't believe life starts at conception, and if I am wrong I trust that God/Gods/Whatever knows that I am sincere in my beliefs. I don't happen to believe in Hell, but if I did I don't imagine this would be a reason to be sentenced to it.
Some PLers I believe are sincere in their beliefs & honestly believe life starts at conception and they feel they have a duty/calling to protect those lives. If their methods do not include abusing, harassing or harming women; I can respect their opinion without agreeing with them. But there also seem to be MANY pretend-to-be pro-lifers who just want to control & force others to bend to their beliefs. I'm willing to bet those people carry those beliefs into all areas of their lives. That no one should do a dozens of things for no reason other than they think it's wrong.
