Paypal account password and upgrading to premium membership of PTC sites

Last week i upgraded my membership of one of the paid to click site to premium member with the link shown in the site using my paypal account.After one day i received a mail from paypal stating that my account is temporarily blocked for security reason.The reason for blocking is that some one has tried to access my acount.Is it safe to make the payment through the link shown on such sites?If you got any information about it,please share it with me.I think it is more useful to other mylot members also.
