I love it.. I used to be a KJ (Karaoke Jockey) in a bar that I worked in. My husband and I still go out about once a mth.. But I like to Set it all up and have a bunch of people over do karaoke. My daughter loves it so much that I bought the Karaoke Revolution games for the PS2.. they are great when you are just starting out.

I used to go to Karaoke night with my friends. I would only sing if it was a big group of us doing it. We usually sang "Radar Love" (had to do with our job in the military!). Haven't done it in years though.

I Love It! Unfortunately, I am deaf. I still go sing, but I can only sing songs I have memorized (I feel the vibration and can sing by that and looking at the time of the words on screen). That is no big deal, but most KJ's do not expect or know how to deal with a deaf patron. I always sit close to the stage, and write down a request to visibly wave at me when I am up, but most do not. So I have to rely on my hearing friends to let me know, and sometimes watch them so they can can give me a sign to start. It is frustrating. I sing well enough that I have won several contests, but an unknowing /uncaring KJ can make me look like a drunken idiot.
