I am sick and tired of hearing criminals in Australia with extensive criminal convictions getting away with a slap on the wrist, while the real victims ( the Family's left without a love one) are totally ignored by the so called "JUSTICE SYSTEM"They are given repeated chances to reform, this person I was reading about had 13 convictions for car theft and now while driving through a stop sign in a stolen car has caused the death of a father of two young children .
What does he get as a "JUST" punishment from the Judge, for the hit and run death of this young father? A minimum of twenty months in jail.
WHY only twenty months, the Judge accepted the criminal was concerned by the death of this victim and would have to live with it for the rest of his live.
This criminal also left the scene of the accident without rendering any assistance after checking if his victim had a pulse.
This "JUDGE" also had the nerve to say that this criminal, also a father of two children, " had matured since the accident and had good prospects for rehabilitation.
Yes Judge, will sleep tight tonight, knowing in twenty months or less this Killer will be out of jail and on the road driving again .
Who will be next I hope it is not one on my family?
