I bet your from Philippines huh?hehehhe same here!!!but im here in LA now and i experience the 4th of July here and wow!!lots of fireworks hope PI will do that too next time!!

Ayjukie15, you're right! How long have you been staying in LA? The last time there were lots of fireworks here was when we celebrated our centennial indeoendence day in 1998. Thank you for responding!

I got here May this year and fortunately i experienced the Independence day here. I never experience fireworks on independence in PI ever. I hope i can watch one when i get back there in the future.

i'm from India and we celebrate our independance day at fifteenth of august and our republicday at january twenty sixth.i believe we share our independance day with our neighbouring country of Pakisthan.

My home country - Malaysia - independence day is 31 August. It reminds everybody about our struggle to get independence from Brittish. Still a big deal!
