I almost ALWAYS screen my telephone calls with caller I.D....Do you?

I was just thinking...My telephone has rung 9 times today. It's only 10:51am....I answered the phone once, because I could see on my caller I.D that it was my sister. I almost never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number calling me....My feeling is that if the call was that important, the person would leave a message on my voice mail. I guess I have just been bombarded with a few too many telemarketers. I hate dealing with them! No matter what you say, they always find a way to keep the conversation going. Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else feels and does the same as me. Thanks!

I am exactly the same,if they don't leave a message and I don't know the number,I do not answer. I did have to change a bit right now,as I am selling my house,so if the number is a local one,I will answer,but if it is an 800 number or similar type,I will not.

Check caller id first - telephone with caller id
I never answer my phone without checking my caller id first. Like you I don't like to deal with tele marketers who are always telling me I won something or want me to buy something.
