in many places,I won persons' heart just calling them 'my brother'. but the call should be from one's inner portion.what do you think?

Yeah we can. And yes the call should be from the inner portion. Because it ties up a relationship between us and the person. And the relationship of a brother is very deep one you know.

I don't call a lot of my gal friends my sister because I think it takes a lot for a person to become like my sister. I wouldn't do it to win someone's affection and your right it comes from the inner being and really mean something to you.

I definitely agree with you. So as calling someone "friend" can gain you their friendship :)
