i read this book when I was about 13 or so; Haven't forgotten it in all the years because I also read The Diary of Ann Frank around that time as well. I later read that it was a book that wasn't true. I don't know, but if it helped a person not to do the things that Alice supposedly did, then I think it served its purpose.

this book made me think about a lot of things in life when i read it. it was really moving and it really got to you. i think that it has a lot of meaning that some people tend to miss while reading it.

I love this book. I really think that all schools should make kids read this in like 8th grade.

I remember this book. I read it many years ago when I was a teenager and I liked it a lot. At that time I was sure that it was a true story. Many years later I read an article about urban legends and in that article "Go ask Alice" was described as an urban legend. I was really surpriced because I was convinced that is was a true story.

I read that book when I was young too. So did my daughter. I'll have to look for a copy of it for my step-daughter to read in a few years.
