My fourth child was born at 33 weeks. I would like to talk to other families that have a preemie so that we can all share experiences and hints.

Kai - Here he is a couple of months ago :D
I went into premature labour at 35 weeks, with my one and only child. I was driving along the freeway in the middle of the country, doing 100km an hour with trucks everywhere, I was terrified and alone. My family and everyone were all more than 2hours drive away... and I didnt have ambulance cover...The country hospital I went to didnt have facilities to care for and deliver prem babies so they stopped my labour and my son actually ended up being born on his exact due date, the 13th of May this year...:D

This is my daughter, Emilia, now
My daughter was premature by about a week and a half and that was after a full week of being in and out of the hospital with contractions (my doctor happened to be on vacation during that week and put me on Breathene which was supposed to halt the birth). She was born healthy, but her temp was a bit low so I didn't get to hold her right away. She could have been born at 34 weeks, because I was hospitalized with pneumonia, kidney infection, bladder infection, and premature contractions. They were able to stop the contractions, but it took a week in a hospital an hour and a half away from home to clear up all the other stuff. It was a difficult pregnancy to say the least.
