Next weekend I am going to visit my friend in Wisconsin. I love going up there and she goes out of her way to make special meals. She makes these make ahead mashed potatoes that her and her hubby just love. I really don't care for them ....I eat them but wouldn't make them at home. What is your favorite kind of potatoe? Fries? Mashed? Baked? Mine is probably mashed with a bunch of gravy on top! So what is your?

Oh man it is really hard to pick just one kind of paotao. My mom makes fantastic scalloped potatoes that I love. I also like fried potatoes with onion and bacon in them. If I could only have one kind for the rest of my life I would probably choose mashed.

I make these cheese and potato layer casserole, and it's so good. Other than that I like frying them in a pan.

My favorite way to eat potatoes is hash browns, but I like them just about any way I've ever had them. Potato soup, scalloped, baked, boiled in the jacket, cut up and boiled, fried, mashed, potato cakes and any number of casseroles featuring potatoes!

Fried potatoes are my favorite kind of potato, although the person who cooks them the best is my mom. However, I haven't had them in years. Maybe I'll reward myself when I drop another dress size.

I like potatoes anyway you cook them. My all time favorite kind of potato though would have to be my late grandma's fried potatoes. She would cook them in half oil and half margarine. They are soooooooo good. All of my siblings agree that is the best way to eat them.
