My cat is crazy or atleast to me he is....He has to be everywhere I am at! I go to the bathroom he fallows me right in and meows the whole time while he is rubbing his body on my legs...I get in the shower he will jump up on the edge of the tub and has to watch me...Doesn't matter where I am sleeping at on the couch or in my bed he has to be right up there laying by my side under the blanket...He doesn't do this to anyone but me..It drives me crazy at time like now I'm trying to type and he keeps trying to get on my laptop and getting in the way till I stop and pet him and talk to him....Does anyone else have this problem with your cat? Sometimes he acts like a female cat in heat rubbing on you and wanting to be loved...I wonder will it get any worse or will it get better as he gets older? This is the first cat that I have ever had so I don't know much about them...I can't help bu tlove him to death..His name is Felix and he know his name when you do call for him...what do you think about all of this? Is this a good kind of cat to have? Sometimes I wish he wasn't so clingy.LOL

I dont think your cat is crazy. I think he is just being a cat. Today I was sitting in the bathroom minding my own business when our 8 week old kitten jumps into my lap. I'm like jeez couldnt you wait two minutes to be petted. Our cats like to sleep on our pillows. They seem rather put0out when we want to use them too. Good thing they are cute.

My cat decided to sleep with me last night. My brother and I have been sleeping in the livingroom since our rooms have been so hot. My cat jumped onto my legs, crawled across my lap, and curled up between my chest and lap and went to sleep. Cats are so cute!

I do agree sometimes it does get on my nerves so if Im on the computer I just have ignore her. I have a chair next to my computer and she will sit in it while Im typing away.LOL I think its good to have such a lovable cat yes indeed.

I know how you feel about the cat getting on the laptop. My cat did that last night. I was doing some last minute homework that was due before midnight, and my cat did that. I finally had to get my brother to pick him up to get him out of my way. My cat seldom ever comes into the bathroom, but the only bathroom he will come into is the laundry room bathroom.

Sounds like you, and all the other responders, have cats that like to be around them. My cat is the same, he can be sleeping but if he hears me in the bathroom he runs in. He insists on pushing the bathroom door open when I am in the shower. He is always jumping up on my computer table sitting right in front of the keyboard and wanting to be petted. His latest trick is to jump on the bed when I am trying to make it and grab the sheets and roll them up in a ball.

Oh gosh,
Your cat is not crazy. You are one of the luckiest and well loved guys around! Goodness. Your kitty loves you so much, and wants to show the his affection and appreciation. For me, the only bothersome part is while i am on the computer, with my kitty plopping onto the keyboard and stuff. But any other time, is a blessing.
One of my cats in the past used to always sleep under the covers or on me, cuddled up, making me feel so loved. Purring, keeping me company, etc. My kitty now is a doll, but she doesn't like to snuggle or be held, and I miss that.
Treasure it while it lasts. Maybe try to show your kitty though the difference between when you really enjoy it (by cuddling and talking sweetly), and other times like computer, with a (not angry) but more firm voice and not as cuddly.
Purrs over to your cat!
