How to build my own website or blog?

I really really want to build my own website or blog on the internet to share my life with others. I have already bought a domain name. But i don't know how to do next. What do i need do? Some people said that i should learn to use Dreamweaver to design website and some believed that Wordpress can do better. Website and blog, which one is suitable for me? I don't know. Does anybody here give me some advice?

I think blog is a better choice for you,if you just plan to share your life with others.And I suggest you to use Wordpress.With it you can get started in less time,and change the look of your blog with dozens of gorgious themes.Have a look at

you've bought a domain name,and then you should find a web hosting, put your web program on it,and write articles to share your life:-)

building websites are fun but I always found them to be too taxing especially because I have no background... hehehe so I feel your pain

I have no backgroud too. That's what I bother about. If I knew how to do I should choose build my own website.Thank you for response.

I personally like Dreamweaver, but you should use whatever you're more comfortable with. I would buy a book about HTML or web design etc. That will help you alot because it will tell you what to do step by step. When I bought my Dreamweaver software it came with a book like that, even how to publish it on the internet. Good Luck!!

I'm not good at learn new tools, especially I have to learn a new programe language. I will borrow a book from local library. Thank you for response.
