The word of the day, courtesy of xboxboy is, "ginwitch."
Okay, so it's slang and a google search really didn't lend it much validity but it's fun to say and even more fun to use in conversation. Tonight, for example, when I go to sing Karaoke I will be surrounded by them. Since I don't have an actual definition from which to proceed, I'm going to make a couple safe assumptions about the word. It strikes me as being a mildly pejorative term used to describe not only a female with a taste for firewater but one who may behave in a variety of ways while under its influence. She can be angry, loud, boisterous or randy. The latter would be older; she would be the kind of gal who's still at the bar at 2:00 looking for a ride [home]. She will let you buy her a drink but will appear annoyed about it, then she'll rush the stage when the band plays "Sweet Home Alabama" (or any Lynyrd Skynyrd anthem)and expose her 50-year-old gourd-like teats to the bass player who will then need an extra shot of Jager to get through the rest of his set. When the bouncers try to tear her away from the stage, she will complain loudly about how it's just like a man to try and keep a respectable lady like herself from exercising a little self-expression and when she wakes up in the morning, she won't remember what happened the night before until several cups of coffee and a re-introduction to the bouncer who drove her home and then wound up somehow still being there to fix breakfast later.
