well, i treat them out in a restaurant or a fast food chain to ease out the tension and talk about the things that made him/her angry.

I have a friend who is angry at someone constantly. Because of this, she has few friends to turn to. Even though I live too far away to see her any more, we keep in touch via e-mail. Every e-mail she writes is full of anger. I just let her vent on me because I figure she needs somewhere to get some of it out of her system. She has had some bad breaks in life, but it's very difficult sometimes not to tell her she's her own worst enemy and causes a lot of her own problems.
