Unfortunately not lately. I've been spending more
time on the "dark side" as some are referring to
you know where. I need to get caught up.
No, myLot gives no special credit for a Best Response.
It's just a rumor like the one in which people think
they also get credit for being the first to answer a
discussion.

Thanks for the vote my friend. I'll see you
on the dark "site" shortly. You inspired me
to go back and finalize all my discussions.

Mylot does provide added earnings whenever one receives 'best response" mark, but it depends on the QUALITY of the post one makes.
I personally asked the admin about these "best response" thing, and this is what they told me in response to my question.. (Please read)
" 1. myLot (57) 4 months ago
These are for you to use to rate other myLot users. This is what myLot refers to as the Discussion Rating System or DRS.
The Discussion Rating System (DRS) allows users to rate the usefulness of topics, responses, and comments on myLot.
The goal of the DRS is to help keep the quality of myLot discussions as high as possible for all members.
myLot members should rate discussions, responses, comments, and photos based upon quality and usefulness. We are very excited about the DRS and encourage everyone to use it.
The DRS is factored into our proprietary earnings algorithm, so this will help us properly reward valuable contributions to the myLot community."
So it's up to you on who you'd believe, if those people who simply puts their two cents or the admin's very own explanation about this matter..

I give a person a "best response" once I've given everybody a chance to answer. How do I know? We'll I'll let my discussion get at least a week old. Around then you can tell if the discussion is dying down, and if it's time to mark a BR.
Do you get anything for giving somebody a BR? I don't think so. I think the person might get a few cents for getting a best response, but as for you I'm not to sure. I haven't seen my money go up from it, but it's a good habit to have regardless. If you don't have a BR then you discussion is considered unresolved. :)

no, mylot didn't. So it's a free-niche a gift you reward your commentators input. I divide the topic.
If the topic is a problem-solving, then I will use it.
But if the topic is a choice topic, it's hard to do so, because most answers are at the same level. Like "What is your zodiac, what is your hobby, what pet do you like, etc."

I do mark best responses for each discussions that I've started. But I didn't do it immediately. Instead I wait for a few days and will then decide the best responses. But I mark positive/negative for each replies that I received. This is to encourage people to gives good post and contribute to my discussions

I don't think they do, but I honestly have no clue. I do give best responses, but I wait so I can give people a chance to respond first.

I have been trying to mark them lately because I think it is an added plus for your friends to see that you actually read what they have to say.
