Can somebody help me how to clear cookies in my PC?

I know it sounds probably too easy for the most of you , but I have no idea how to make that.Today is my first day tring to complete a referrals and I read somewhere is good to clear cookies.CAn somebody help me, how?Plus if you think there is something other importnat what I should do after submiting a reffereal, help pls.Thank you

If you are using Firefox, then go to tools, and "clear private data" and then check "cache." If you check 'cookies' you might clear some that are needed. If you use Internet Explorer, go to Advanced on options and check 'empty temporary files when closed," you will be okay. I do not know what to do after submitting a referrel.
