Should our Cricketeers be showered with so much money?

I somehow feel that all our sportspersons are to be treated equal. Why should our cricketers be given so much leverage? I have seen them being given millions. Do you think it wise? If they earn so much money in one go, would they really give their best to the country again. And if them, why not the others. This stepmotherly treatment is very bad for the other sportsmen. It gives them a complex and no enthusiasm for winning the game. Do you all agree with me.?

Our cricketers are showered with so much money only because of the public's behaviour and interest.It is because of the public that the cricket boards get so much money to reward its cricketers with millions.But it is not wise to give so much money in one go.All the sports are not given same treatment which is bad and unfair.Cricketers are always treated well above others.yes I agree that there is no motivation for winning the future games.

I think everyone should be treated the same, I can understand people from poorer countried wanting to win for their economy but then I think the money spent for all people in sports ect, could be spent on things that are needed more, such as medical supplies, and helping the needy.
