Look how sad life is! Life's amusing to the degree that it's accelerated, faster the funnier. But slowed down, the funniest thing in the world becomes woeful. And if you stop it dead still, the film burns up. There's a searing incandescent flash and you're gone forever. Being happy isn't the same as being happy, is it? Being funny pays better than being happy. It's funny how we pretend to be happy when we're not and laughing even if we wanted to cry. People tend to laugh with you but only few can cry with you. Life's like that, funny but not happy.
