Here are some tips:
A dog isn't a toy. It needs attention like a small child. Put some time apart to play with it.
The best thing you could do is to start going out 3-4 times a day for 10-20 minutes walks. Preferably on regular hours so the dog will get used to these hours.
I take my dog out first thing in the morning, in the early afternoon, before I go to bed and sometimes I go out with him to places during the day too. Try to find places where the dog can also run free a bit, to flex his muscles and have fun. Get the dog a good strong ball he can play with, some doggy bones he can chew on and some other toys that he likes.
Always have a fresh bowl of water for the dog. For food, I mix good quality dry dogfood with some boiled chicken and soup and give it to the dog the same hours every day. Twice a day is enough. Check with vet how much food yr dog needs according to his weight. Have him check out the dog for illnesses and get the dog vaccined.
Always keep the dog on a leash when you take him out and have some plastic bags with you so you can pick up his S...T after he's done.... These are the joys of looking after a dog...:-)Have fun !

Eek!
It sounds like you probably should have done a little more research on having a dog and the breed of dog you have gotten.
Without going into many many details here, you should probably take him/her to the vet and get advice that way. Look up some dog websites and research. Take a training class maybe at a local pet store.

My goodness!!! i don't think you are ready for a dog yet. It's better you learn b4 you get one. I suggest you give it out to someone who has the experience.
On the other hand, you may get some books and start devouring them if you are so much in love with owing a dog. Owning a dog is not a fard, and it is great responsibility. Believe me, it has its rewards as well as its pains.
I can't answer all your questions here or i will be deceiving you. It's better you attend a dog training class or get a good dog book to read.
