Saurav Ganguly's captainship

ya, you are right and i am agree with you. ganguly is aggressive captain. but his bad luck about his performance. he is greatest player for india after sachin tendulkar. he score 22 century in one day. the second no. after sachin. but under pressure as a captain his performance was very bad in last few years. but now he again come back in his real touch. so should our selector have to think about ganguly's captainship.

His captainship was absolutely superb.He was aggressive in and off the field.He is a confident man himself and he brought his team mates together during his reign of indian cricket. Indian cricket team making it to the finals of 2003 WC is a clear indication of this.But in what he failed miserably is known to every one-his personal form.His slump of form after the WC sent him away from the team.You can imagine how hard it is to be out of the team you captained for ,reasons other than injuries. Fortunately,that increased the fuel in him .Now he's back to his rocking best averaging more than 50 in the past 10-15 one day innings.Now he shown us a way to treat with star player's slump in form.:)

Sourav Ganguly is the best ever captain we had in the history of Indian cricket.He will remain the best. He is a great batsmen and a great cricketer and above all he was a great captain.

Ya sure I agree , but what India need is some aggressiveness in the field and Sourav is not showing it on the field now and his batting is improved but the aggressiness is reduced .. He is now playing defensively...... I think Dhony or Yuvraj can manage the captainship now... But its important to manage the senior players too..
