Today, September 28th is my birthday!

I've seen where others have shared that it's their birthday in a discussion, so I couldn't wait to share mine too, and now it's finally here. I'm 42 today. We don't have any major plans, tonight I have to take our son to soccer practice. My 18 year old son borrowed the car last night and it got a flat tire, he changed it during a thunderstorm which I appreciated. This morning though, I took it to the shop to get it patched and they told me that I needed a new tire, because someone drove on it when it was flat and tore it up inside! It ended up costing $80 instead of $16.50 (which was to patch a tire). They said I should make my son pay for it, but that won't happen. It's also been a little sad, since it's my first birthday without my mom. She always took me to breakfast or lunch on my birthday, every year, so it's been a little lonely too. I did get a nice little present yesterday from a lady who was always like a second mom to us, she was my mom's best friend, they had known each other for about 50 years. Tomorrow, my daughter's and their boyfriends and my so and her girlfriend as well as a few friends of ours will be coming over to have dinner, so that will be nice. I just wanted to share this with my friends here at mylot.
