Do you prefer satellite or cable television?

We have had both. We had satellite and I prefered it over cable. But cable had the better price for us so we switched. It took some adjusting. I still would like satellite if we could get a good deal on it.

We cannot afford stellite connection, since it's very expensive and costly. Though satellite can provide good viewing for the family, I see nothing different from it compared to cable television. We have cable connection here, which we pay in an equivalent for almost $20 a month.

I've had both satellite and cable, and I prefer cable. It doesn't go out in storms like the satellite did, and also I don't have to pay extra for my local channels.

I guess it really must depend on where you live because I think depending on what package you take for either cable or satellite it costs close to the same amount. I've heard of satellite TV going out alot in bad weather but our cable does that sometimes as well; not often, but sometimes when we have bad thunderstorms. It seems I can get the channels I want the most with either so unless someone wants the whole NFL ticket or whatever it's called cable is probably just as good. We've just recently been able to get a DVR with our cable, which had been available only with satellite systems in our area, and I love my DVR. I hardly ever watch anything when it's originally broadcast because I love to fast forward through the commercials! Annie

We have cable but I would love to have satellite. It looks interesting to watch tv programs from foreign countries.
