Nowadays, you can see the younger generation in the Philippines hanging out in coffee shops. And I am sure, if you answer this discussion you have your own favorite coffee and coffee shop. Can you share where you get your favorite coffee?

I love coffee shops. Give you a sense of peace and quiet from the streets and lets you relax. i usually hang out in th ebook store at the coffee area and get on my laptop or read a book. But my favorite coffee shop is Dunkin Donuts. Not sure if they have those in the Phillipines but I know its a Nationwide company (so they say). A lof of my friends go to Starbucks and hang out and drink coffee but Im not a fan of Starbucks. To me their coffee is plain and boring. I also am not a fan of starbucks because they use to campaign how they do not support the Troops (military). I am a BIG supporter so that upset me and I choose not to drink from there. But yes, a lot of people do frequent in coffee shops and I agree that it is mostly teenagers and 20 something year olds.

Yes, we've got lots of Dunkin' Donuts outlets here too. And one favorite local author wrote in her blog that she thinks Dunkin's coffee is the best coffee (in her personal opinion of course). The young professionals and students hang out mostly in Starbucks and other signature coffee shops because for them it's hip to be there. They're not actually for the best coffee, it's the status symbol they're after.

I'm not a coffee drinker too but I don't hate it. I would sip a cup with my coffee drinking buddies once in a while. Yeah, the smell is sooo inviting.

my officemate and i use to frequent a coffee shop called country style. its quieter than fancier coffee shops but they serve great brewed coffee. im not a fan of brewed and strong coffee coz they usually give me a headache. i just love lattes and flavored coffee. but country style dont serve them. my favorite shops i could say is seattle's best, coffee bean and tea leaf and figaro.

all i know is that students , younger generation with the hopes of just appearing sosy or with class even if they dont have the money and the means should stop going to this cafe's that serve expensive coffee, but if they could afford it then why not,im just so sick and tired of this sosyalera and trying hard wannabes of society or social climbers, they dont know the meaning of hard work.
