What kind of work would you not consider?

Is there any job out there that you'd never do? A career you'd never take up no matter how much it paid? What is it and why wouldn't you do it?

I would never consider being a lawyer, or work full time in an office, I need to be outside, the sunchine... and fresh air...

I wouldn't talk about a specific career as I really don't mind a lot of things. But if there is some job which I need to lose my dignity or honesty, I wouldn't take the job no matter how much it pays. I know that in the real world, we all need a bit of the "cunning" personality to climb up and beat the competitors, but still, I love doing it in honest way. I wouldn't take anything that makes me being not me anymore!

Actually any kind of 9-5 office job never tantalized me..LOL. I remember when I was in high school ready to graduate, my mom and grandmother dragged me down to the personnel department of the bank they both worked for. They were hoping I guess that I ditch the idea of my chosen major in college as I wanted to be a Drama major (I was), but they thought it was a totally useless profession to get involved with, and wanted me to be more "practical" Now during high school I won all these merits in typing and steno (gee does anyone still do that?) So here I am in the personnel office and taking these tests to see if I qualified or not--well my subconscious mind must have revolted since even though I was an expert typist/stenographer I just really screwed up..like a rebellion thing...I just didn't want to work in a friggin' office! So the way I did on the typing exam you think a two year old had done it. You see, I just couldn't understand why they kept pushing this on me when they absolutely, positively hated their jobs...so why make me suffer? LOL Yes, I could see they wanted me to have a good paying job and all and security, but I just didn't want office work, no way!

If I can choose what I want I would say that I need a job that can make enough money but also will allow me to have time to take a good care of my family. So I think I'm saying about having my own company or business than can allow me to manage my time between my family and business itself.

There are more jobs out there that I would never want to do than I could ever possibly have time to list. I'll just say I've done retail and fast food and I would never ever do either of them again. The mantra the customer is always right keeps me away from retail because in actuality the customer is always an a**hole and generally wrong. Fast food is just dirty, dirty, dirty, and again, the customers are a**holes.

I would not work in fast food. I would not work in retail between Nov 1 and January 7. I would not do any job that entailed dealing with maggots.
