None of us choses the names our parents give us but if you could've chosen it, what would you have selected as your name? For the longest time when I was little I wanted to change my name to Jezebel, I heard it in Sunday school and thought it had the neatest ring to it, lol.

rotflmao Aren't you so glad now that you did not name yourself? When I was a Child nearly every doll I had was named Heather. I can not remember where at the time I had heard it, but I used it for every doll, There was heather anne, heather joy, Heather renee, well you get the picture. so I think I probably would have called myself Heather.

*laughs* Interesting, we work a bit different around here. We have the Chinese name which is given by my parents. But since we were under British rule before, many of us have English names (we call that Christian name). Indeed some of the English names are given by parents too but some of us got to pick our owns as our parents might not know English at all. I picked Jess and I would still stick to it because I think I like it sounds the best!

I was named after my mother and I find it to be an honor, so I probably wouldn't want to change it at all. But, I will think of other names that I like. I like the name Charity, Mykayla, Brianna, Future, Majesty, Destiny, Miracle, Promise, Victoria, Magan, and quite a few others, but I am happy with mine.

Probably Gwen(dovere) or Beth(any). I don't like my real name.

Well, I can name myself as the most erratic person living in this world. I change mind all the time. Like a weather, no definite decision.

I really disliked my name growing up... its very unsophisticated! I preferred my middle name but couldn't get people to use it. As I got older, I started to appreciate that my name has several connections with my Pop... so I guess its not so bad!

What a fun question! I would have named myself Anais, after the writer Anais Nin.
