I have watched all the three parts of the movie and I like them very much. However I have this against the movie. It was made up of only Europeans. They should have included people of other races- Asians, Native Americans, Polinesians, Blacks, etc. I think it was possible. It would have been a lot better. What do you think?

Keep in mind, also, that the movies were based on books. When the characters were described in those books, they were described as basically white Europeans. That is more to be blamed on J.R.R. Tolkien than anyone involved with the movie.
Also, any number of the orcs, goblins, etc. could have been played by non-Europeans, and it would have been impossible to tell, due to costuming and makeup.

Many movies based on books don't go strictly according to the book. Indeed, in many cases there are significant differences between the story in the book and that in the movie. There wouldn't have been a big difference if the directors of the movie included other races whiles they were not in the book.
Your second point was anticipated. There were probably other races costumed as orcs, etc. That totally changes their identity. So we don't see whether they are Europeans, Asians, etc.

I fully agree with sizzle, why should other races have to be in all movies?
If a movie is made in North America, there are pretty well all races in it as there are all these races living there, but in some cases, such as Western movies, there were very few races around then.
I would like to know how many whites are in forein movies?
I bet there are not any in Arab movies.
or Chinese. And why would it make a movie much better with other races? it was a great series as it is.

I would forgive a movie of less calibre and epic proportions, for including people of just one race. But such an epic fantasy movie as 'Lord of the Rings' definitely should have included races from all over the world. I do not think it was impossible, even if the entire movie was acted and edited in New Zealand alone(which was not the case anyway).

I thought the movie was well done. I thought the actors and extras that were used were great. The story line was well written. The books were very good as well. I do not think that the people who were casting this movie sat down and said that they were not going to hire any one but Europeans. Why do movies have to be judged because of the race of the actor and actresses. The film industry is always underfire for not hiring this race or that race and it is getting stupid. There are tons of shows out there that are all black shows and other that are chinese shows and there are still others that are some type of hispanic. YOu can not please everyone all the time. I loved the movie and have bought the movie. I do not care what race stared in the movie.
